Joan Kehoe
Founder & CEO
Joan has spent her career building and running businesses in the Fund Administration space.
Most recently she was Managing Director, Global Head of Alternative Services for JP Morgan where she was charged with transforming the business which was successfully completed during her tenure. She started her career in 1984 at the Investment Bank of Ireland where she worked in various client servicing roles. She joined Morgan Grenfell in 1990 as Shareholder Services Manager and moved to PFPC International in 1993. She became CEO of that business in 1996 and grew the business to over €120bn AUA before leaving to set up Quintillion, a privately owned Hedge Fund Servicing business in 2006. The privately owned business was successfully sold to USBANK Corp in 2016.

Ian Lynch
Founder & CCO
Ian has been in the alternatives business since the late 1990’s.
Ian was one of the early leaders at Citco Fund Services that oversaw their rapid growth from a regional US player to a global leader in the Alternative fund administration industry. As an Investment Banker with Credit Suisse he led the acquisition of Fortis Prime fund solutions in 2010, going on to be the CEO of that business returning it to profitability before its sale to BNP Paribas Securities Services (BP2S) in 2015. Ian ran alternatives globally at BP2S and served as a member of their executive committee. A core part of this role was to create a global Private Capital Servicing business to add on the existing Hedge fund business. Ian joined Intertrust as Chief Commercial Officer in 2019, helping transform their commercial organization and was a core part of the executive team that managed the €2.73bn sale to CSC in 2022.

Brian Fitzgerald
Founder and COO
Until recently was an Executive Director at JP Morgan with overall responsibility for its Investment Accounting teams in the United States , Ireland and India.
From 2016-2020 Brian led the transformation team within JP Morgan and successfully migrated the entire hedge fund services business onto a new accounting, reporting and client delivery platform. Prior to joining JP Morgan, Brian worked at Quintillion (now part of USBANK Corp) where he led the Dublin Fund Accounting and Operations teams. Previous to this, he was a Director of Fund Accounting at PFPC International.

Aisling Hayes

Aisling has 20 years’ experience in the Fund Administration Industry.
Most recently she was Global Head of Fund Accounting at Ocorian where she was responsible for building out the Company’s Irish and Global Fund Accounting offering. She has a broad range of experience across hedge, mutual and private equity fund accounting. She joined Ocorian from BNY Mellon where she had responsibility for the credit team both locally and in other EMEA locations. Prior to working at BNY Mellon Aisling worked for 4 years at JP Morgan in Private Equity.

Mike Walsh
Head of Applications and Fund Accounting support
Mike has managed end user accounting applications and their data from the days of COBOL through to cloud based systems.
Mike joined PFPC International (then part of PNC Bank, now BoNY Mellon) in 1995 as a fund accountant before switching into systems support and development. In 2006 he moved to a newly founded privately owned business, Quintillion, with responsibility for establishing and maintaining the accounting platforms, and the onboarding of new business. After the sale of Quintillion to USBancorp in 2015 he moved to J.P. Morgan in 2017 as part of the transformation team whose remit was to overhaul the entire hedge accounting platform to new infrastructure, where he remained through to the successful completion of the project in 2023.

William Callaghan
Head of Transfer Agency
William has spent his 20 year career working on the transfer agency side.
Prior to joining Alchelyst, Will served as the Global Head of Transfer Agency and an Executive Director at J.P. Morgan. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing teams that covered all aspects of Transfer Agency including operations, AML and product development, with teams located in the United States, Ireland and Luxembourg. During his tenure at J.P. Morgan, Will led the TA transformation team and successfully migrated the entire hedge fund services business onto a new TA platform. Before joining J.P. Morgan, Will served as the Global Head of Transfer Agency at Quintillion (now part of USBANK Corp), where he had oversight of both operations and product teams. Previous to this, he was a TA manager at PFPC International managing it’s tier 1 clients. Will holds a bachelor’s degree in business and finance from Dublin City University along with a diploma in stockbroking from Dublin Business School.

Don Ross
Head of Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing
Prior to joining the Group he was Global Head of Investor Services at Ocorian with a broad range of responsibilities including Investor Onboarding.
Before joining Alchelyst he worked as an Executive Director with J.P. Morgan Fund Services business as their Head of Investor Services for EMEA. His oversight in the Investor Services Team covered full end to end operations for Investors in Hedge and Private Equity Funds. Don was instrumental in the global update of the technology offering and operational model during that time. Don has considerable experience within the industry having also held the position of Head of Investor Services at Quintillion (now US Bancorp). While at Quintillion he was part of the team responsible for establishing and growing the Group’s investor services offering, working on large scale client change projects, as well as developing and maintaining client relationships. Don holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and Law from Dublin City University, as well as a higher diploma in Management from the University of Leicester. Additionally, he is an ACAMS Certified Money-Laundering Specialist.

Charles Gillanders

Charles Gillanders is a seasoned technology professional with a wealth of experience in the investment services industry. Over the course of his 30-year career, Charles has held significant leadership positions in reputable financial services organizations.
At U.S. Bank, Charles played a key role in driving technology innovation and shaping the strategic direction of the business. He has held leadership positions such as Chief Technology Officer for U.S. Bank Global Fund Services (Ireland) LTD, Head of Technology Strategy for U.S. Bank Global Fund Services, and Head of Innovation and Fintech Engagement for U.S. Bank Wealth Management and Investment Services. Prior to his tenure at U.S. Bank, Charles was a co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Quintillion LTD. He was instrumental in building the technology infrastructure and operations of the company. Earlier in his career, Charles also served as the Business Information Officer for PFPC International, where he contributed to the strategic direction and management of the company's information systems. Charles is known for his strategic vision, technical expertise, and leadership in the financial services industry. He has a proven track record of driving innovation, leveraging technology, and delivering exceptional results in complex environments. With his extensive experience and accomplishments, Charles has earned a reputation as a respected professional in the field of investment services and technology.

Paul Galvin
Head of Hedge Fund Accounting
Paul has a 20 year career history working in the fund administration business.
Prior to joining Alchelyst, Paul served as an Executive Director at JP Morgan, where he led high-performing accounting teams responsible for managing the operations of some of the bank's most prominent clients. His leadership was pivotal in executing the seamless migration of existing clients and driving the successful onboarding of new business during a transformative global upgrade of the firm's technology platform and operational framework. Before his tenure at JP Morgan, Paul was a senior manager in fund accounting at Quintillion (now part of U.S. Bank Corp), where he played a central role in overseeing critical financial processes and enhancing operational efficiency. Earlier in his career, Paul held a leadership position at PFPC International, where he directed the global fund-of-funds pricing team and provided strategic oversight for servicing hedge fund and fund-of-funds clients.

Steve O’Donovan
Head of Compliance, Chief Risk Officer
Steve has 18 years' experience in the legal, fund administration and financial services advisory industry.
Most recently Steve was Head of Risk and Compliance holding PCFs (12,14 and 52) in Ocorian Fund Services (Ireland) Limited where he set up and built out the Risk, Compliance and AML frameworks for the newly authorised (January 2022) fund administration business. Steve initially qualified as a Barrister in 2005 and practiced for 8 years before moving into compliance with Maitland Administration Ireland Limited where he built his knowledge of the fund administration business and become PCF 15. He then worked for Deloitte in the Risk Advisory Department as a Senior Manager where he had responsibility for managing multiple engagements across Risk, Compliance and AML.

He spent the first 7 years of his career working as a tax consultant for PwC and the Bank of Ireland in Dublin, and for Deloitte in Canada. Since then, he has held senior finance roles in finance, technology and SME sectors in both Ireland and Canada. His roles have included VP, Finance at a publicly traded financing business, Director, Finance at a global technology business and multiple Financial Controller roles.

Vishal brings over 19 years of expertise in establishing and developing operations in the Alternatives sector, having held pivotal roles at leading financial institutions. Most recently, he led the Alternative Investment Services Fund operations team in India for J.P. Morgan. Before that, he managed a similar team at Deutsche Bank, where he was instrumental in implementing advanced technological solutions to streamline operations. Throughout his career, Vishal has excelled in establishing and scaling investment operations from the ground up. Vishal's comprehensive experience in Alternative Investments landscape and technical acumen position him as a key leader in driving progress within the rapidly evolving financial services industry. Vishal holds a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with specialization in Accounting & Finance.

Arvind Singh brings over 14 years of expertise in Alternative Fund Administration, with a strong focus on product development and management. Prior to joining Alchelyst, he spearheaded product innovation for Private Credit solutions within J.P. Morgan's Hedge Fund Services division. In this role, he led the development and enhancement of fund administration platforms, integrating cutting-edge technologies to streamline operations and improve client experiences. Previously, as Assistant Vice President in Hedge Fund Services at Deutsche Bank, Arvind played a key role in designing and implementing new product offerings, particularly in the realm of alternative investments. His career began in CLO product development, where he gained comprehensive insights into the Private Credit sector, including Bank Debt products. Arvind holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science.

Barbara possesses an extensive understanding of Fund Administration services, encompassing Depositary, Custody, and AIFM/ManCo services.
Barbara is an experienced senior leader with over two decades of expertise in leading teams across diverse areas, including Operations, Client Management, and Sales. She began her career in the Financial Services industry as an Administrator before moving to the position of Supervisor in the Alternative Investment Services Transfer Agency Team at BNY Mellon Luxembourg. Barbara then also served as Vice President of Business Development at Apex Group. Before joining Alchelyst she led a team as Head of Private Funds Sales EMEA at Intertrust Group, and played a key role in driving business growth and expansion.

Shawn McMenimen
US Country Head
Shawn has over 25 years of senior leadership experience in Alternative Investment Fund Administration.
Shawn joined State Street via the acquisition of Investors Bank & Trust Co. in 2006 as Managing Director of Private Equity Fund Services in the newly formed Alternative Investment Solutions division. He led a large global team providing a full spectrum of administration and data analytics services to institutional fund sponsors and asset owners. Shawn was a senior partner with Gen II Fund Services from 2017 to 2020, responsible for all aspects of service delivery during a period of explosive (2x plus) growth. Most recently Shawn was Head of Client Operations - North America Fund Services at Alter Domus, where he had responsibility for the integration of multiple acquired businesses, deployment of best practices, and the design and implementation of the target operating model.
